Well personally, I think things would be a lot different than it is right now.
I mean Seriously we Nigerians should be blamed and if possible questioned of our sanity.
Why would you re-elect a president that failed woefully in his first term, he failed to deliver on his election promises, he even went as far as degrading Nigerian youths in the eye of the international community saying ‘the Nigerian youths are lazy’.
What kind of president would disgrace his own citizens like that.
There were a lot of signals during his first tenure telling us that this man is not the right person for the job, but we failed to open our eyes to those signals.
First of all, we experienced our first economic recession during his tenure, things became harder and prices of foodstuffs rose significantly.
He promised to fight corruption but to me, I have not seen any considerable changes, no difference between his administration and that of Jonathan’s, infact things even went worse.
I’m not surprised at his reaction during the events that had happened this year.
For example when the coronavirus got to Nigeria, we were literally begging the old man to address the nation before he eventually did, the same happened during the endsars protest and lekki killings. He even went as far as ignoring the lekki massacre during his speech.
I have never seen such a nonchalant president in my life.
I hope we all wake up in 2023 and vote the right person in.
