Governor Sule Abdullahi of Nasarawa state and his new wife welcomed a set of bouncing bouncing baby boys last week, excitements flew about during the naming which took place on tuesday, December 1 when the governor decided to name his new kids after two prominent political figures in the country.
Governor Sule married his new wife in 2019 after he had won the state’s gubernatorial elections and he felt elated on Tuesday after welcoming the set of twins into his family.
Reports were gathered that the twins are both boys and they have been named after president Muhammadu Buhari and a former governor of Nasarawa state, Senator Umar Tanko Al-makura.
The first of the two boys was name Muhammadu Shamsudeen, reflecting Buhari’s first name while the second was named Umar Faruq, reflecting the senator’s name.
Speaking at the naming ceremony, the Governor explained that the twin were named after president buhari and senator al-makura because of the respect he has for the two political leaders.
